Outside The
Main Quinta Farmhouse:
There is a large terraced area with sun loungers, shade umbrellas and
a shower. The covered BBQ makes up part of the pool deck and has a table
for 8 people.
The pool is 12 x 6 metres and has night lighting, the water capacity is
150,000 litres with a depth of 1 metre at the shallow end, and 3 metres
at the deep end, and is easily accessible with wide walk in steps. It
is a wonderful pool for serious swimmers and is also great for the rest
of us. This pool can be heated and the system we have is very efficient
but expensive as the heating is by gas. The price per week is £275
and has to be booked in advance.
There is a roof terrace with a distinctive tower viewing point which gives
the property its name (Miradouro is a viewing point in Portuguese). The
door to this area is locked and is opened at clients' discretion. The
gardens are extensive and have lawns and flower beds. A new hard tennis
court was built in 2001 and is for the use of both houses. There is a
resident tennis coach who can be booked for lessons.

This property has three bedrooms
and three bathrooms.
Master bedroom, en-suite bathroom (bath with shower fitting)
Twin bedroom, bathroom en-suite (bath with shower fitting)
Twin bedroom, separate bathroom (bath with shower fitting).
There is an open plan kitchen equipped with washing machine, large fridge/freezer,
hob, oven and microwave, electric kettle and toaster.
Ironing board and iron.
The kitchen and living room are open plan and the living area has a built
in log burning stove. It is very warm and cosy in the winter months as
there is full gas central heating as well as the log burning stove . In
the summer more time is spent on the pool deck and the covered BBQ area.
There is satellite TV (BBC card), video, DVD, and radio.
This beautiful cottage is ideal for one or two couples in the winter months
and the price can be negotiated with the owner for short or extended stays.

Outside The Quinta Cottage:
The pool terrace as with the main house leads directly from the living area
and is equipped with sun loungers and sun shades. One corner is covered
and has a BBQ and a large natural stone table that will seat up to 12 people.
This is a wonderful pool deck and BBQ area with great views to the sea and
the vineyard.
The pool is 9 x 4.5 metres and has night lighting, the depth in the shallow
end is 0.90m and 2.40m in the deep end, and has wide walk in steps. This
pool can also be heated and costs £200 per week and must be booked
in advance. The garden has a lawned area with a large fig tree in the centre.
